Dr. Jerry Easterday, a retired psychiatrist with Heartland Psychotherapy Associates, PC, worked with Mary for nine years.
"I have seen Mary Slominski develop expert skills in treating patients with SPMI including Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, Dissociative Identity Disorders, Eating Disorders, Thought Disorders, and Mood Disorders. Included in her skill set is using sign to work with hearing impaired clients. She is always seeking to improve her professional skills as well as working to grow personally. She has an excellent ability to gain confidence of others whether peers or clients. I have great admiration for her commitment and dedication to excellence. She is professional in her demeanor."
A former female client wrote this for Mary after completing her therapy:
"As I play this masterpiece called life, it is hard to find someone who is playing the same notes as me. Even more importantly, it is hard to find someone who will lead me to God, the Great Orchestrator of all that happens in life. But you have been both for me. When I am playing out of tune, you go to that key, and fine-tune me until I sound just right. When I am playing the wrong notes, you gently and honestly let me know, so that I can play the right notes. And even more importantly, you pray for me. And you have led me straight to where I need to be to find forgiveness, healing and strength – and that is the cross of Christ. And now, I am learning to play this masterpiece of life like I have never played before. My eyes are focused on the Great Conductor. And I thank God everyday for the masterpiece He has given you, which you are playing so beautifully in my life."
A Christian woman, whom was severely abused most of her life, writes this:
"I literally would not be alive today, had the Lord not brought Mary into my life. She has gone above and beyond the call of duty on several occasions and has been a blessing to me. I have even entrusted some of the most special people in my life, to her care and I have not been disappointed. I have given her name to several people and encouraged them to contact Mary for assistance. I will continue to do so, as she is a talented counselor, an amazing woman of God, and an awesome person!"

A woman who attended marital counseling with her husband posted:
Another lady, who came in for individual counseling posted about why she was thankful for Mary:
believe God has given you a special gift to be able to listen... and
actually hear what others are saying to you, a compassionate heart that
wants to make a difference in people's lives, not just for today, but
eternity, and the wisdom and discernment to help them through life's
struggles... That my friend, is called a BLESSING (and isn't learned in a
classroom, but is from Above)!!
